Two-Termed Vice President, Eastern Region (2022–2024; 2024–2026)
Philippine Nurses Association of America, Inc. (PNAA)
Dr. Remegio serves as the elected Vice President of PNAA’s Eastern Region, representing one of the largest and most active regions of the national organization. His leadership has strengthened organizational infrastructure, expanded chapter development, and elevated professional engagement across multiple states.


Co-founder of multiple PNAA Chapters and Subchapters, significantly expanding PNAA’s national footprint:
PNA Triad of North Carolina (2025) – PNAA’s 57th Chapter
PNA State of Connecticut (2023) – PNAA’s 55th Chapter
PNA New York Capital Region Subchapter (2022)
PNA North Carolina Triad Area Subchapter (2023)
Led the region to achieve the highest and PNAA’s record-breaking fundraising totals for four consecutive years (2022–2025), strengthening PNAA’s capacity for scholarships, community programs, and national initiatives. In 2025, his region raised to $43, 800, accounting to almost 50% of the total funds raised.
Successfully chaired the 21st and 22nd PNAA Eastern Region Conferences, delivering high-impact programming and record participation in North Carolina and Maryland.
Co-Chair, PNAA Mentorship Program (2023), establishing a formal national mentorship structure for Filipino American nurses.
Co-chaired the 43rd PNAA National Convention (2022), leading one of the organization’s most successful national gatherings.
Co-Chair, PNAA Anti-Racism in Nursing and Anti-Asian Hate Crimes Initiative (2021), advancing national advocacy for equity, safety, and inclusion.

As President of PNANY during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Remegio led one of the largest PNAA chapters through an unprecedented public health crisis. His leadership strengthened community resilience, advanced advocacy, and expanded organizational capacity.
During the pandemic, Dr. Remegio in collaboration with other professional organizations, he co-led the weekly Filipino American Health Forum which addressed the misinformation about COVID-19, and it created a movement that helped distill the fears & myths of the COVID vaccine.
Co-led national advocacy with Senator Schumer and President Biden (2020) for the immediate release of 5 million COVID-19 vaccines to the Philippines, demonstrating global health leadership and effective policy engagement. This work was recognized by the President of the Republic of the Philippines hence PNANY received the highest honor for an organization known as the LINKAPIL AWARD.
